TvZERO is a production company, founded in 1993 by filmmaker Roberto Berliner, in Rio de Janeiro, with the aim to invest in the renovation of audiovisual language. Initially focused on musical videos the company has specialized in making creative documentaries such as the award-winning "Born to be Blind”, and the TV documentaries “Street Sounds” and Angola.

The list of documentaries produced by TvZERO that were released domestically in theaters includes “Lingua – Life in Portuguese” “Pindorama - The True Story of The Seven Dwarves”, "Simonal - No One Knows How Tough It Was". In 2009 the company will release three new documentaries "Herbert Up Close"about the frontman of the widely known band Paralamas do Sucesso, "Straight to the Point" that investigates the origins of samba in the favelas, and "Serra Pelada - the Naked Mountain" a documentary epic about the gold rush at the biggest open-air gold mine in the world.

Besides releasing new documentaries on the theaters, TvZERO will also be shooting two fiction films about two strong women. “Lady of the Images”, the story of a psychiatrist who stood up against her colleagues and called for a different and more humane treatment for patients with schizophrenia and “Sweet Poison of the Scorpion”, about an upscale girl who, on her eighteenth birthday, abandoned home and parents to become a call girl.
